Director of Distribution Full Time

We are seeking a dynamic Director of Distribution to lead our state-of-the-art 175,000 sq. ft. Distribution Center. Reporting directly to ownership, this leader will be entrusted with full P&L accountability, operational oversight, and the continuous development of processes that ensure excellence across our supply chain. This role is pivotal in driving efficiency, profitability, and world-class customer experiences that reflect the standards of a leading luxury brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Direct daily warehouse operations, including delivery, shop, and safety, overseeing a team of 45+ support staff.
• Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with ownership and the executive team to architect and execute strategic operational plans.
• Financial Management: Develop and manage the DC budget to optimize P&L performance.
• Vendor & Partner Management: Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with shipping, delivery, supply chain, and business partners.
• Supply Chain Excellence: Design and implement strategies that enhance cost efficiency, quality, and delivery times while maximizing profitability.
• Inventory Optimization: Lead initiatives to reduce aged merchandise across distribution centers and store locations.
• KPI & Reporting: Provide ownership with weekly and monthly KPI scorecards and prepare detailed operational reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Training & Development: Build, train, and evaluate a high-performing team; ensure staff are equipped with the resources, tools, and knowledge to succeed.
• Culture of Safety & Excellence: Drive a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and operational discipline across the DC.
• Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration required
• 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience in distribution, logistics, or operations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive informed decisions.
• Demonstrated success managing P&L and optimizing budgets in complex environments.
• Exceptional communication skills and proven ability to align operations with strategic market goals.
• Experience leading teams in fast-paced, high-volume distribution environments, ideally within retail or consumer products.
• Results-driven leader with the ability to balance efficiency, profitability, and luxury brand standards.
