We do this by providing education, certification, professional development, and advocacy. We have more than 67,000 members and credential more than 100,000 AHIMA health information professionals.

What does this role do at AHIMA?
Partnering closely with the Chief Marketing Officer, the Director of Content Strategy drives integrated campaigns that support membership growth, product marketing, and revenue goals while overseeing content strategy, channel optimization, and cohesive storytelling across all platforms.
This position manages AHIMA’s web ecosystem to ensure a seamless, data‑informed user experience. They also oversee content creators and publishing channels to deliver industry‑leading content that builds audience engagement and organizational visibility. As a key leader in corporate storytelling, media relations, crisis communications, and executive positioning, the Director fosters innovation, leads high‑performing teams, and ensures AHIMA is recognized as the authoritative voice in global health information.
