Directional Drill Operator/Locator Full Time

What We Are Looking For:

Silas White Construction, Inc. is looking to add directional drill operators / locators with a “can do” attitude to our growing team.

Position:

Directional Drill Operator / Locator

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Drive company vehicle / trailer
• Haul equipment to and from jobsite
• Operate directional drill machine and equipment safely and effectively
• Must be familiar with all aspects of completing a directional bore from start to finish
• Assist in the exposure of existing utilities
• Work alongside the rest of your field team
• Must ensure jobsite safety
• Identify, assess, and control hazards
• Read and comprehend workprints
• Managing and mixing water / mud

Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must be able to pass background and drug screens
• Must have a Valid class A driver’s license with clean record.
• Must have 3 years experience in telecommunications / utility construction
• Must be self motivated
• Must be detail oriented
• Must be able to work M-F and some weekends

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

• Construction: 2 years (Required)
• Horizontal drilling: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Class A CDL Driver’s License (Required)
