WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Nymbus is a remote-first company. Occasional travel may be required for client engagements, team planning sessions, or company events. Working hours primarily align with the Eastern Time Zone.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a mid-to-senior level Designer who thrives at the intersection of creativity, technology, and emerging AI-driven workflows.

This role goes beyond traditional design execution. You’ll be working in an AI-first environment where tools accelerate output—but taste, judgment, and human insight still define great work. We need someone who understands how to leverage modern design tools like Figma and the Adobe Suite, while also embracing AI as a collaborator, not a crutch.

You should bring a strong foundation in branding and visual systems, ideally with experience in tech, banking, fintech, or similarly complex industries. Your skill set spans web design, graphic design, social media, and email design—creating cohesive, high-quality experiences across touchpoints. Bonus if you’re comfortable with motion or video work.

We value designers who can clearly articulate their thinking. You’re able to present your work, explain decisions, and engage in thoughtful dialogue with stakeholders. Transparency, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset are essential.

At the same time, we’re not looking for someone who simply follows guidelines. You know how to push creative boundaries while respecting brand systems. You’re adaptable, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and motivated by continuous learning—especially as design evolves alongside AI.

Most importantly, you care about the craft and the people behind it. You want to create meaningful, compelling work for both clients and in-house initiatives, and you bring curiosity, ownership, and a sense of pride to everything you build.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create high-quality design work across multiple channels, including web, graphic, social media, and email.
• Develop and maintain cohesive branding and visual systems across all touchpoints.
• Leverage modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) to execute and deliver design solutions efficiently.
• Integrate AI-driven tools and workflows into the design process to enhance productivity and creativity.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective design solutions.
• Present design concepts clearly, articulating rationale and decision-making to stakeholders.
• Contribute to and evolve creative direction while ensuring alignment with established brand guidelines.
• Balance innovation with consistency by pushing creative boundaries within brand systems.
• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, maintaining quality and attention to detail.
• Continuously explore and adopt new tools, trends, and methodologies, especially in AI-driven design.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Mid-Senior level experience in design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating branding and visual systems.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience working across multiple design disciplines (web, graphic, social, email).
• Familiarity with or willingness to adopt AI tools as part of the design workflow.
• Strong understanding of branding, layout, typography, and visual storytelling.
• Experience in tech, banking, fintech, or similarly complex industries (preferred).
• Experience with motion design or video production (preferred).
• Ability to communicate design concepts clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Adaptability and comfort working in fast-paced, evolving environments.
• Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
• High level of ownership, attention to detail, and pride in craft.

SALARY & BENEFITS:

• $65,000 – $75,000 Annual Salary
