Carpenter with Specialized Decking and Deck Coatings Experience

Job Description:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):
- Construct, repair, and maintain decks/deck coatings according to project specifications.
- Apply specialized knowledge of various WESTCOAT products and deck coatings to enhance durability and aesthetics.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Safely operate and maintain specialty tools and equipment.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials accurately for a precise fit.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter, with a focus on decks and deck coatings experience and using WESTCOAT products.
- In-depth knowledge of different wood types, materials, and coatings used in deck construction.
- Proficient in using carpentry/deck coating tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Safety-conscious mindset.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with deck coatings.
- Demonstrated expertise in deck coatings.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong knowledge of different types of coatings, sealants, and application techniques.
- Proficiency in using various tools, such as sanders, scrapers, brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
- Understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work safely in various weather conditions.
- Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 – $33.00 per hour
