𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰
This is a hands-on, in-office role at the intersection of technical support, data, and modern tooling, reporting directly to the CTO.
You’ll be the go-to person for solving everyday technical challenges while also playing a key role in building, maintaining, and improving Power BI dashboards and data workflows used across the company.
This role is less about knowing every tool upfront and more about being curious, adaptable, and eager to learn how to turn raw data into clear, actionable insights.
As one of our first three technical hires, you’ll help shape how we use tools, data, and AI—both in day-to-day operations and in how we evolve as a company.
𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬
~30% IT support and provisioning
~60% data, reporting, and Power BI / data visualization
~10% internal tools, automation, and experimentation
𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬
𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐈, 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 & 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬)
– Build and update Power BI dashboards using existing semantic models and DAX measures
– Design and refine data visualizations that are clear, intuitive, and decision-focused
– Work with stakeholders to improve how data is presented and understood across teams
– Monitor dataset refreshes and troubleshoot issues in Power BI Service
– Validate data accuracy and ensure consistency across reports
– Prepare, clean, and structure data using Excel, CSVs, or SQL
– Maintain documentation for reports, data sources, and refresh processes
𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 & 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬
– Set up and configure laptops, Wi-Fi, printers, and user accounts
– Provide first-line support for Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint)
– Assist with user and access management in Azure Active Directory
– Monitor and maintain internal systems (apps, Power BI gateways, etc.)
– Troubleshoot connectivity, device, and office tech issues
– Maintain inventory of devices, accounts, and licenses
– Document setups, fixes, and repeatable solutions
𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 & 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭
– Test and provide feedback on internal tools (Streamlit apps, Power Apps, etc.)
– Log, track, and help resolve issues or enhancement requests
– Perform light data updates in MySQL, Excel, or SharePoint
– Help keep internal documentation and file structures organized
𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 & 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭
This role is designed to grow with both you and the technology landscape.
– Deepen your skills in Power BI, DAX, and data modeling
– Learn how to design dashboards that actually influence decisions
– Explore automation tools (Power Automate, Python) and AI-assisted workflows
– Experiment with new tools to improve reporting and operations

– Someone who enjoys turning messy data into clear, useful dashboards

– Someone interested in data visualization, AI, and modern tools
– A generalist who wants exposure to IT, data, and systems—not just one lane
𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬
– 2–5 years of experience in data operations, IT Support, or similar role
– Experience with Power BI (building dashboards, visuals, or reports) OR strong Excel skills with interest in learning Power BI
– Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Azure AD
– Comfortable troubleshooting Windows and Mac environments
– Basic understanding of networking and hardware setup
– Strong communication skills—especially explaining data to non-technical users
– High attention to detail and organization
