Role: Data Scientist
Location: Remote
Role Overview:
We are hiring a Data Scientist to extract meaningful insights from Joveo’s
vast datasets and build predictive models that directly improve hiring
outcomes for employers globally. You will work at the intersection of
statistics, machine learning, and product — turning data into decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design and build predictive models and statistical analyses to solve business problems
– Conduct exploratory data analysis on large, complex datasets to surface actionable insights
– Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deploy models into production
– Define and monitor key metrics, run A/B experiments, and measure impact
– Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
– Maintain data science tooling, notebooks, and reproducible research pipelines
Required Skills & Qualifications:
– Strong proficiency in Python and the data science stack (pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy)
– Solid foundation in statistics, probability, and experimental design
– Experience with machine learning model development and evaluation
– Proficiency with SQL and large-scale data querying (BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake)
– Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests and causal inference studies
– Ability to present complex analysis clearly to non-technical audiences
