Data Entry Clerk / Customer Service Specialist Full Time

POSITION SUMMARY

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and dependable team member to support our operations as a Data Entry Clerk / Customer Service Specialist. In this role, you’ll help keep our freight moving by ensuring accurate data entry, supporting driver and customer communication, and assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Enter and update load information, driver details, and shipment data in internal systems
• Review paperwork (BOLs, PODs, rate confirmations) for accuracy and completeness
• Communicate with drivers to collect paperwork and provide updates as needed
• Assist customers with shipment status, questions, and general inquiries
• Track and document loads to ensure timely and accurate delivery information
• Maintain organized digital records of all load and driver documentation
• Work closely with dispatch, safety, recruiting, and accounting teams
• Help ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations
• Perform general administrative tasks to support daily operations

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience in trucking or logistics (ELDs, load boards, TMS systems, etc.) is a plus
• Familiarity with driver paperwork and compliance requirements is a plus
• Fast and accurate typing skills
• Ability to problem-solve and stay calm under pressure

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in data entry, customer service, or transportation/logistics preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
• Strong organizational skills and follow-through

WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Collaborative office environment in Ixonia with a fast-paced, career-building rhythm.

Schedule: Mon-Fri from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
