It supports various groups including police departments, firefighters, teachers, and postal workers by facilitating access to benefits through direct relationships with over 20,000 union associations primarily in Southern California. This approach addresses the need for streamlined benefits education and delivery within union-affiliated groups.
2. About the Opportunity:
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for educating union members who seek information about benefits available through their affiliations. This role focuses on providing clear and accurate information, supporting members in understanding their options. The position emphasizes customer service and member support rather than active sales, with sales occurring only if members opt into additional benefits.
3. Responsibilities:
• Educate union members on available benefits
• Respond to member inquiries regarding benefit options
• Support members in making informed decisions about additional benefits
• Maintain professional and courteous communication with members
• Work exclusively with established union associations, with no cold calling
4. Requirements:
• Must reside in California
• Flexible working hours
• Fluent in English; bilingual skills are a plus but not required
• Self-motivation and strong customer service skills
• Integrity and willingness to learn and grow professionally
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
