What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Answer and handle general information calls related to licensing, payment, and compliance for the Arizona Barbering & Cosmetology Board
• Perform research and accurately enter data into the Cosmetology and Barber database
• Consult with leaders to ensure accurate information is provided to callers
• Provide high-quality responses to inquiries and customer service complaints
• Maintain professionalism while working in a busy call center environment

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute
• Knowledge of Arizona Barbering & Cosmetology statutes, rules, and regulations
• Proficiency with technology, including computers and software applications
• Strong communication skills and ability to actively listen
• Experience in a call center environment is preferred

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Previous experience in customer service, particularly in a regulatory or compliance setting
• Familiarity with de-escalation techniques and problem resolution
