What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Communicate clearly and concisely with customers, utilizing business English and precise vocabulary
- Interact directly with customers to resolve issues related to health insurance products and services
- Maintain accurate and complete electronic notes of conversations in relevant software systems
- Handle confrontational situations with empathy while reaching objective conclusions
- Develop expertise in benefits and eligibility for health insurance plans
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a specialized customer service environment, or two (2) years of college coursework (at least 48 credit hours) plus one (1) year of experience in a specialized customer service environment
- Must pass company proficiency test: Customer Service Assessment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a high-stress environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
