The Customer Service Representative I role serves as a primary contact point for customers, responding to inquiries by phone or written correspondence. This position plays a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction through accurate information delivery and adherence to confidentiality standards. The role is impactful in maintaining operational quality and responsiveness within the provider contact center.
3. Responsibilities:
• Respond promptly and accurately to customer inquiries
• Document inquiries appropriately
• Apply confidentiality and security guidelines consistently
• Meet production and quality expectations
• Maintain knowledge of online reference materials
• Prioritize workload and adapt to changes
• Perform other duties as assigned
4. Requirements:
• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
• Strong data entry skills
• Completion of required program training
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
• Preferred: experience in healthcare, insurance, or contact center environments
• Preferred: ability to work flexible schedules
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Hourly pay range: $15.66 – $20.60, varying by region, experience, and skills
