About the Role
This is a high-impact, full-time remote position at the center of daily operations for a growing U.S. residential electrical services company based in New England. You will be the first voice clients hear — the one who picks up the phone, organizes the schedule, and keeps the whole operation running smoothly.

Customer Service & Dispatch Assistant
What You Will Do
Primary Responsibilities (Every Day)
• Answer inbound calls from homeowners — warm, professional, and on the first ring
• Collect client information using structured intake checklists
• Schedule service calls and consultations using Housecall Pro (CRM)
• Manage same-day changes, rescheduling, and urgent calls
• Return calls to new leads quickly and follow up on pending estimates
• Handle basic objections confidently — or escalate to the right person
• Keep the calendar accurate and up to date at all times
• Coordinate between the owner, technicians, and clients throughout the day
Secondary Responsibilities (Once Core Duties Are Covered)
• Monitor and respond to emails on behalf of the business
• Draft emails and messages based on owner or technician dictation
• Pull city permits and inspection documents from online portals
• Coordinate inspections with homeowners and local authorities
What We Are Looking For
Required
• Fluent, confident spoken and written English (C1 level minimum — minimal accent)
• Strong phone presence — you are calm, clear, and warm even under pressure
• Customer service experience (required — this is your foundation)
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Comfortable handling back-to-back calls, scheduling changes, and follow-ups
• Ability to handle basic client objections professionally
• Reliable, fast computer (Mac or Windows equivalent to MacBook Air M1 2021 or newer)
• Stable, high-speed internet connection — backup required
• Quiet, professional workspace — no background noise during calls
• 100% full-time availability
Preferred (Not Required)
• Experience in dispatch, scheduling, or field service coordination
• Sales experience or appointment-setting background
• Familiarity with Housecall Pro, Service Titan, Field Pulse & Jobber or similar CRM/scheduling tools
• Basic understanding of U.S. residential construction or trades

Tools You Will Use
• Housecall Pro (CRM + scheduling + phone system — we will train you)
• Trello (SOPs, task tracking, workflows)
• Gmail and Google Calendar (email and scheduling)
• Google Docs (notes, records, templates)
