Custom Fabricator – Interior & Trim (Wood / Mixed Materials)

HIMALAYA specializes in building fully custom vintage Land Rovers—staying true to the classic aesthetic while integrating modern engineering and performance. Each vehicle is built from the ground up with an uncompromising focus on craftsmanship, detail, and design.

We are looking for a hands-on fabricator and builder to join our team, focused on creating custom interior components and trim elements.

Role Overview

This role is centered around the design, fabrication, and installation of custom interior features including:

• Custom center consoles
• Wood flooring systems (rear load areas and interiors)
• Side steps and exterior trim elements
• Speaker enclosures and interior panels
• One-off interior accents and functional components

You’ll work with a variety of materials including wood, composites, metals, and upholstery finishes to create high-end, production-ready components.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with woodworking, fabrication, or custom building
• Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
• Ability to take a concept and bring it through design → build → install
• Comfortable working with multiple materials and adapting as needed
• Self-starter who can work independently and within a team
• Organized and accountable in maintaining a clean workspace

Automotive experience is a plus, but not required.
Candidates from furniture-making, marine, cabinetry, or custom fabrication backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build and install custom interior components for high-end vehicles
• Collaborate with design and production teams on new ideas and improvements
• Develop repeatable processes for commonly used components
• Maintain high standards of fit, finish, and durability

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.65 – $30.00 per hour
