Caribbean Cabinets & Countertops is seeking an experienced and dependable Countertop Crew Lead to oversee quartz and stone countertop fabrication and installation projects for residential and commercial customers.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, maintains a professional job site presence, and can lead a crew efficiently while delivering high-quality finished work.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and manage countertop installation crews on residential and commercial projects
· Read layouts, drawings, field measurements, and job specifications accurately
· Ensure proper installation of quartz, granite, and solid surface countertops
· Oversee seam quality, leveling, finishing, polishing, and final fitment
· Coordinate daily job site activities to maintain productivity and efficiency
· Communicate professionally with customers, builders, contractors, and internal teams
· Verify materials, layouts, and installation details before and during projects
· Maintain high standards for craftsmanship, safety, and cleanliness
· Troubleshoot installation issues in the field and implement solutions
· Train and mentor junior installers and crew members
· Ensure company tools, equipment, and vehicles are maintained properly
Qualifications
· 2+ years of countertop fabrication and/or installation experience preferred
· Previous crew leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
· Experience with quartz, granite, marble, or solid surface materials
· Ability to read shop drawings and installation layouts
· Strong understanding of countertop seams, supports, leveling, and finishing
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
· Ability to lift 75+ lbs and perform physical work daily
· Strong communication and problem-solving skills
· Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
· Positive attitude and team-first mentality
· Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish is highly valued in this role due to diverse field and customer interaction
Bonus Experience
· CNC or fabrication shop experience
· Experience using polishing, cutting, and installation tools
· Construction or remodeling background
· Experience working in occupied residential homes and commercial environments
