Seeking a high caliber copy editor (for learning materials) in the Eastern time zone so that the team can work very closely together.

Responsibilities:

1. Managing copyediting assignments, tracking progress, and meeting deadlines.
2. Thoroughly reviewing and editing content for correctness, clarity, consistency, and adherence to style guides and brand guidelines.
3. Working closely with writers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality content.
4. Ensuring the accuracy and consistency of content through fact-checking and proofreading.
5. Demonstrating good judgment and leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Significant experience (typically 5-7+ years) in copy editing learning materials, in a fast-paced environment.
2. Exceptional grammar, punctuation, and writing skills.
3. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
4. High attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work.
5. Ability to identify and solve problems effectively.
