Role Summary

As a Consultant Relations Manager, you will be responsible for building, nurturing, and managing relationships with health brokers and benefits consultants who influence employer mental health purchasing decisions. This role is critical to expanding PsychPlus’s visibility and credibility across the employer benefits ecosystem and driving consultant-influenced growth.

You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to educate consultants on the value of PsychPlus’s mental health solutions and position PsychPlus as a trusted partner for employer clients.

Key Responsibilities

Consultant Strategy & Targeting

• Define and refine the ideal consultant and broker profile across national, regional, and boutique firms.
• Build and prioritize a target list of health brokers and benefits consultants by region, firm, and strategic impact.
• Develop and execute a consultant relations strategy aligned with PsychPlus’s employer go-to-market approach.

Relationship Development & Influence

• Build trusted, long-term relationships with benefits consultants and broker leaders.
• Increase awareness and advocacy of PsychPlus’s psychiatry and therapy offerings within consultant firms.
• Position PsychPlus as a preferred mental health partner for employer and health plan clients.

Education & Enablement

• Educate consultants on PsychPlus’ clinical model, outcomes, care pathways, and differentiation.
• Partner with Marketing to develop consultant-specific materials, including decks, one-pagers, FAQs, and case studies.
• Host consultant briefings, training sessions, and industry events.

Consultant-Led Growth

• Support Sales by activating consultants in employer opportunities, RFPs, and renewals.
• Track and report on consultant-influenced pipeline and revenue.
• Identify opportunities for expanded consultant engagement, pilot programs, and enterprise adoption.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to align messaging and field feedback.
• Bring consultant insights back into the organization to inform product positioning and go-to-market strategy.

Experience

• 5–7+ years of experience in consultant relations, broker relations, partnerships, or a similar role.
• Experience in digital health, behavioral health, or healthcare technology, or
• Prior experience working at a major consulting or brokerage firm such as Mercer, Aon, WTW, Gallagher, Lockton, USI, or similar.
• Proven ability to develop revenue-generating consultant relationships.
• Ability to bring existing broker and consultant relationships to the role.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $120,000–$150,000
