The Sanitary Board of the City of Charleston, WV (CSB) is a municipal sewer utility serving Charleston and adjacent areas of Kanawha County, WV.
General Description
The Charleston Sanitary Board is seeking a Construction Laborer/CDL Truck Driver/Operator (LTO) in the Maintenance Division of its Collection Systems Department. The LTOs will work on construction crews under the direction of a foreman.
Essential Duties
- Perform all facets of manual labor required for new installation and repair of sanitary sewers and appurtenances. This includes hauling materials, equipment, and disposables with CSB dump trucks and trailers; and operating and maintaining CSB heavy construction equipment.
Education and Experience:
- Must have a valid West Virginia Commercial Driver’s License Class A (CDL-A)
- Experience performing construction manual labor.
- Experience driving single and tandem axle dump trucks and pulling equipment trailers.
- Experience operating heavy construction equipment (backhoes, excavators, and skid-steer)
- Knowledge of sanitary sewer construction
