Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Design Manager to support a large-scale industrial facility project. Responsibilities include:
Establish and maintain design standards
Manage design deliverables and track submissions, revisions, and change logs with impact assessments
Perform QA/QC reviews and identify cross-discipline coordination risks
Support the Principal TPM in day-to-day design management activities
Coordinate between engineering firms, construction teams, developers, and internal stakeholders
Track project schedules, milestones, and design progress using design tracking and document control systems
Review and evaluate design packages for completeness, constructability, and alignment
Ensure design readiness, schedule adherence, and alignment across all stakeholders, including engineering firm, developer, and internal teams
MUST HAVES:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience (10+ years preferred) in design management, engineering management, or construction design coordination within construction or industrial facilities
Ability to coordinate across engineering firms, developers, and key stakeholders
Strong project scheduling and design review capabilities
Ability to establish standards, track revisions, perform QA/QC, and manage design change logs
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
NICE TO HAVES:
10+ years experience with strong tenure
Former Amazon employee (with strong reference)
Robotics construction/supply chain experience
Experience with large companies (Meta, Google, Microsoft)
Buyer supply chain experience

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $121.20 – $122.69/hr.
