Concrete Finisher

SME Contractors is seeking experienced Concrete Finishers for roadway, sidewalk, curb, gutter, and ADA ramp construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Set and strip forms
• Place, finish, and cure concrete
• Construct sidewalks, curb and gutter, and ADA curb ramps
• Perform grading and preparation work
• Assist with layout and elevation control
• Maintain quality and safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of concrete finishing experience
• Experience constructing ADA curb ramps and sidewalks
• Ability to understand slope requirements and grades
• Ability to operate skid steers and excavators
• Valid driver’s license required
• Reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• DelDOT experience
• CDL
• Experience with laser levels and grading equipment

Applicants Must Be Able To:

• Finish concrete to specification
• Understand slope percentages and drainage requirements
• Construct ADA-compliant ramps and landings
• Work independently and as part of a crew

Pay: $28.00 – $33.00 per hour
