Comic Book Processor (2 positions available):

As a Comic Book Processor, you’ll play a vital behind-the-scenes role ensuring that our comics and collectibles inventory is organized and handled with extreme caution through inspection (bag and board), protection, preparation for sale, internal and external tracking, and ready to reach collectors across the country. You’ll work as part of a team to ensure proper implementation of processes contributing to the overall health of our processing systems/inventory.

This position is on-site at our location in Panama City Beach, Florida. Remote work is not available. Occasional travel. Some weekend work.

Salary: $38,000 full-time salaried position

Benefits after 60 days including health care

Key Responsibilities:

Processing comic books through a managed method of inspecting, organizing, bag and board protection, preparation for sale, and tracking mechanisms. Attention to detail, task-oriented, accuracy, and efficiency are required. Basic use of Windows and Apps may be used for research purposes (e.g., researching a comic book or comic artist). You may also assist with order fulfillment and preparation for shows or live sales.

Receive & Inspect Inventory:
Unbox and process incoming shipments of comic books. Carefully inspect each issue for damages or printing flaws to ensure they meet our quality standards.

Bag & Board Comic Books:
Protect every comic book by professionally bagging and boarding them for long-term preservation and presentation.

Support Fulfillment & Events:
Assist with order fulfillment and preparation for shows or live sales.

Qualifications:

✅ Attention to Detail: You notice flaws others might miss and take pride in precision.
✅ Organized & Efficient: You enjoy creating order and systems that keep things running smoothly.
✅ Physically Capable: Able to lift boxes up to 25 lbs and stay on task in a fast-paced, physical work environment.
✅ Comic Book Knowledge (a plus!): Familiarity with comics and comic book artists, comic book grading, condition terminology (Near Mint, Very Fine, etc.), and major publishers like Marvel, DC, Image, and more.
✅ Team-Oriented: Willing to collaborate and communicate with the larger PCB Hobby team.

✅ Education: High school diploma or equivalent and you are teachable (i.e., willing to learn new things and quickly)

Pay: $35,000.00 – $38,000.00 per year
