CNA/Caregiver+ Full Time

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate CNA/Caregiver+ to provide exceptional patient and resident care across diverse healthcare settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, long-term care, and medical support, demonstrating proficiency in a wide range of clinical and personal assistance tasks. As a CNA/Caregiver+, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with varying healthcare needs, including those with developmental disabilities, dementia, or recovering from acute or chronic conditions. This position offers an opportunity to work in dynamic environments such as hospitals, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and home care settings, utilizing your expertise to deliver comprehensive patient-centered care.

Duties

• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices.
• Monitor vital signs and document patient information accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks to ensure seamless communication among healthcare teams.
• Administer medications and perform basic medical procedures following HIPAA guidelines and aseptic techniques to maintain safety and confidentiality.
• Support patients with specialized needs such as Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or behavioral health conditions through compassionate engagement and tailored care strategies.
• Provide post-acute and sub-acute care in outpatient or inpatient settings, including critical care environments like ICU or Level I Trauma Centers.
• Assist with medical procedures such as phlebotomy, catheter care, and wound management while adhering to infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in emergency medicine, urgent care, pediatrics, geriatrics, or hospice to deliver timely and effective patient service.
• Utilize medical terminology proficiently to accurately record observations and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
• Support patients’ physiological needs by monitoring vital signs, ensuring proper anatomy knowledge is applied during patient handling.
• Contribute to home & community care initiatives by providing personalized caregiving services that promote independence and well-being.

Experience

• Prior experience working in hospital environments such as ICU, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), or trauma centers is highly valued.
• Demonstrated expertise in long-term care facilities including assisted living communities and nursing homes.
• Experience with medical-surgical units or outpatient clinics that utilize EMR/EHR systems for documentation.
• Proven background in caring for individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges across various settings.
• Familiarity with advanced clinical skills such as medication administration, aseptic techniques, and infection control measures.
• Knowledge of geriatrics, dementia care (including Alzheimer’s), behavioral health management, and hospice services is preferred.
• Working proficiency in medical terminology coupled with strong physiology and anatomy knowledge enhances patient support capabilities.
