The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Linux admin to work with our dynamic team of IT professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud environments, an understanding of cloud services, and a strong Linux command line understanding. Looking for candidates with some variety of the skills listed below.

Responsibilities:

Workstation and Server support:

Local Linux Desktop support

Support local and remote “Cloud-in-a-box” infrastructure (Nutanix)

Comfortable with hardware deployments and troubleshooting

Cloud Infrastructure Management:

Manage and Maintain cloud-based resources (AWS)

IPA

Puppet

Documentation

Network support:

Support troubleshooting efforts for our cloud base network infrastructure

Support/troubleshoot local network issues

Qualifications:

Required:

Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ or CISSP) – must have or willing to get within 1-2 months of starting.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

+/- 7 years of experience in server/desktop Linux system administration and network troubleshooting.

Knowledge of DevOps practices and methodologies

Willingness to learn new technologies

Desired

Knowledge of Puppet, IPA, and Kubernetes

Experience or understanding of “Cloud-in-a-Box” Solutions

Experience with Ansible and scripting

Pay Range :

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$82,700 – 173,900 USD
