Raytheon’s Advanced Products & Solutions (APS) is a product focused strategic business unit that leverages scale and technology commonality to provide leading-edge, reliable, and cost-competitive products in both the high- and low-end segments. With 1,200+ active contracts, APS supplies mission equipment directly to original equipment manufacturers and government entities for integration on larger systems.
Raytheon’s APS SBU Engineering Team is seeking a Senior Principal Engineer to perform in the role of Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) supporting a development and production program focusing on program execution. This role will provide leadership driving robust execution practices for engineering development and production. The IPTL, in coordination with existing engineering leadership, will lead program execution in accordance with contractual requirements as well as ensuring the technical subsystem requirements are achieved. The IPTL will maintain and strengthen our customer and industry partner/supplier relationships through effective coordination in a complex environment. The IPTL will work daily with the various program teams to drive execution efficiency, maintain milestone focus, and manage priority of competing demands on the team. This IPTL role requires proactive and effective collaboration and communication across the program and with the appropriate Customer stakeholders. This is an onsite role located in McKinney, Texas.
What You Will Do
o Meet contractual commitments including financial, technical, and schedule performance of assigned program(s) within contractual boundaries and company expectations.
o Report business metrics to both the program and functional leadership including Estimates At Complete (EAC).
o Provide the technical execution leadership required to design, develop, integrate & test, verify, qualify and deliver a system that complies with performance requirements.
o Communicate both to the Raytheon leadership and the customer community to provide program status, accomplishments, issues, and help needed.
o As a member of the Program Leadership Team, contribute to developing and aligning on common program vision and execution strategies.
o Actively work to identify, manage, and mitigate risks or capture opportunities.
o Provide mentoring and guidance to team members.
o Travel as necessary to support the Program (approx. 25%).
Qualifications You Must Have
o Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
o Experience in Program Management and/or IPT execution within the Defense Industry.
o Experience leading cross-functional teams within the Defense Industry that includes two or more disciplines in Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, Quality Management, and/or administrative functions.
o Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP) / Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), or Risk and Opportunity Management.
o Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain special program access after start. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
o Experience with leading development and maintenance across multiple program sites.
o Experience with Supplier Management.
o Experience with leading Hardware Engineering Teams.
o Experience with leading transition to production.
o Experience with production deliveries.
o Experience with Agile Lifecycle Management tools, preferably Jira
o Excellent presentation and proposal skills.
o Experience in the Electronic Warfare domain.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD – 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
