The Role

We are looking for a visionary and execution-oriented CEO to lead NovusMinds from its earliest days into market leadership. This is a rare opportunity to take the helm of a funded company at the intersection of two transformative forces: artificial intelligence and wealth management.

As CEO, you will set the strategic direction, build the team, drive fundraising, and establish NovusMinds as the definitive AI platform for the wealth management ecosystem. You will be equal parts strategist, storyteller, and operator.

What You Will Do

•       Define and communicate a compelling vision for how AI will transform wealth management, rallying the team, investors, and partners around a shared mission.

•       Lead fundraising efforts including Series A and beyond, building relationships with venture capital firms, strategic investors, and industry partners.

•       Own the go-to-market strategy: identify ideal customer profiles, build sales and partnership channels, and drive early revenue with TAMPs, RIAs, and private banks.

•       Recruit and build a world-class founding team across engineering, product, sales, and operations.

•       Work closely with the CTO and product team to ensure the technology roadmap aligns with customer needs and market opportunity.

•       Establish key partnerships with wealth management platforms, custodians, broker-dealers, and data providers.

•       Set company culture, values, and operating cadence from day one, creating an environment where top talent thrives.

•       Represent NovusMinds at industry conferences, in media, and with regulators, positioning the company as a thought leader in AI-powered financial services.

•       Manage board relations, reporting, and governance as the company scales.

What We Are Looking For

•       12+ years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in executive or senior leadership roles (VP+, C-suite, or founder).

•       Proven track record of building and scaling a startup or business unit from early stage to meaningful revenue (ideally $1M+ ARR or equivalent traction).

•       Deep understanding of the wealth management ecosystem: TAMPs, RIAs, broker-dealers, custodians, and the regulatory landscape.

•       Strong fundraising experience: you have raised institutional capital or have deep relationships in the VC and strategic investor community.

•       Technical fluency: you do not need to write code, but you must deeply understand AI/ML, LLMs, and SaaS product development to make informed strategic decisions.

•       Exceptional communication and storytelling skills: you can inspire a room of investors, win over skeptical enterprise buyers, and energize a team.

•       A builder mentality: you are comfortable rolling up your sleeves, making sales calls, drafting pitch decks, and doing whatever it takes in the early days.

•       High integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to make difficult decisions under uncertainty.

Nice to Have

•       Prior CEO or co-founder experience at a venture-backed fintech or wealthtech startup.

•       Existing relationships with large TAMPs, RIA aggregators, or private banking executives.

•       Experience navigating SEC, FINRA, or state-level regulatory requirements for financial technology companies.

•       An established personal brand or thought leadership presence in financial services or AI.

•       MBA or advanced degree in business, finance, or a related field.
