Title: Chemical Compounder

Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday)
Pay: $15-20/hr – Negotiable
Start Date: Immediate
Experience: 2+ years

Summary:
Company is expanding our Bulk and PreWeigh Department. This position will be responsible for weighing out specific quantities of raw materials and manufacturing the bulk products per a defined recipe in order to make batches of liquid products in accordance with established procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s). Must maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Job Functions:

• Accurately weigh raw materials.
• Able to compound multiple different products.
• Comply with all written Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
• Drive fork lift to move pallets throughout warehouse and into the PreWeigh room.
• Handle and move drums, containers, bags of raw materials.
• Follow GMP’s for a clean, safe work environment.
• Provide samples and testing to Quality Control department.
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment, tools, scales, etc.
• Keep and document batch records.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Wash equipment
• Ensure correct procedural implementation and documentation.
• Manage material inventory.
• Clean and sanitize tanks.
• Clean and transfer pumps, valves, hoses and any other accessories used in the transfer of raw materials or bulk product.

Requirements:

• Ability to read flow meters, scales, etc.
• Self driven
• Attention to detail
• Flexible to work overtime as needed
• Works well with teams
• Possess good communication skills
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
