Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ceritified Surgical Tech to join our dynamic team in a full-time capacity. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, providing exceptional patient care while supporting surgical and procedural teams. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring safe, efficient operations and delivering compassionate care to diverse patient populations. A sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 is available for qualified applicants.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate records of sterilization activities and inventory levels.
• Operates sterilization equipment and inspects instruments, equipment, and containers to ensure cleanliness and proper functioning.
• Performs decontamination of soiled instruments, sterilization containers, and equipment according to instructions for use (IFUs) and established protocols.
• Corrects instrument sets according to current standards, established count sheets, and/or instrument tracking systems.
• Maintains proper levels of inventory to ensure availability for case carts.
• Performs regular quality assurance program audits of peers.
• Collaborates with the surgical team to ensure timely availability of sterilized instruments and equipment.
• Monitors and documents sterilization processes to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Troubleshoots and resolves issues with sterilization equipment and processes.
• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sterilization processes.
• Trains new staff on sterilization procedures and protocols.
• Ensures proper handling and disposal of biohazardous materials.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.42 – $26.27 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 36 per week
