Central Processing Technician, NO WEEKENDS – The Surgery Center | Traverse City Eye Full Time NEW

HOURS: 5:00am-6:00pm (shifts vary between 8-10 hours)

OPEN POSITION: Full-Time (30-40 hours/week)

• CSPDT Certification (preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Some duties for this position:

1. Sterile processing of surgical instruments:

• Decontamination
• Instrument Preparation
• Sterilization
• Distribution of Surgical Instruments

2. Utilizing infection control sterility and safety practices during all phases of the process.

3. OR Turnover between patients

• Clean OR
• Open Supplies and Instruments to Sterile Field

4. Supporting Materials Manager

• Receiving and Stocking of Surgical Supplies
• Stock Rotation and Outdating
• Pulling Surgical Supplies for Surgical Day Turnover

5. OR Support
