Summary You will serve as a CAREER SERVICES SPECIALIST in the PERSONAL SERVICES DIVISION of MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR. Responsibilities You will be responsible for assisting in the development of plans for current and projected programs to achieve goals and objectives. You will be responsible for advising clients on the development of skills required by employers and provides information on the entrance requirements to colleges, universities, and vocational/technical institutions. You will be responsible for assisting clients in developing job search skills such as resume writing and interviewing techniques. You will be responsible for instructing standardized curriculum and facilitate trainings. You will be responsible for helping clients relate and align their values, interests, abilities, and skills to facilitate their participation in approved programs in support of their transition into the civilian workforce. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience in providing independent counseling and targeted resume development; maintaining strategic employer and educational relationships to drive recruitment; designing and facilitating instructional career readiness sessions.
