MealMate has a small footprint, requires no ventilation/water/drainage, and is a great amenity, ready to serve staff, visitors, students, tenants, patients, and patrons 24/7.
Our machines provide great value during off-hours, augmenting costly traditional food services, improving food accessibility, and saving time during short breaks.
MealMate prepares high-quality hot meals in 5–7 minutes. Our food menu is versatile and delicious.
In short, MealMate is NOT a typical candy and chips vending machine, but a restaurant-in-a-box, without exaggeration!
The Opportunity
We’re seeking a Business Development / sales representative to expand our MealMate presence through B2B2C placements. Once deployed, MealMates generate cash flow as customers purchase hot meals.
This remote, commission-based role focuses on securing MealMate placements in workplaces, transportation hubs, student housing, office and residential buildings, hotels, and nursing homes.
What You’ll Be Selling
You will contact several market segments, including universities, corporate campuses, and hospitality establishments, to interest and convince their management/decision-makers and facilities/food-service operators to place the MealMate(s) on their premises.
What You’ll Do
Identify and pursue qualified location opportunities for MealMate placement.
Conduct outreach via cold contacts and network introductions.
Engage decision-makers across facilities, procurement, HR, and vending/food service contractors.
Presentations tailored to each host facility type.
Maintain the deal pipeline and provide weekly activity reports.
Who You Are
This position is well-suited for an intermediate-level business development professional.
Internship opportunities are available.
Data mining, lead generation, social media, and LinkedIn skills are required.
Great to have: B2B sales, business development, and presentation/communication experience.
Embrace this commission-based role enthusiastically. Secure performance in your first 2–3 months to unlock a subsequent full-time employment.

Compensation
Commission: Earn $500- $ 2,500 for each new location where you place a MealMate machine before becoming a salaried employee. After a successful 2-3 month trial period, transition to a full-time base salary of $70,000–$90,000 per year.
You’ll be joining at an early stage with several reference projects/placements completed. If successful, you will be a part of an exciting company with aggressive expansion plans.
