Position Summary

Special A is seeking a full-time Business Development & Sales Consultant based in Houston to help drive local market growth and strengthen relationships with prospective families. This role is designed for someone who is highly client-facing, bilingual, organized, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving education and sales environment.

This is a growth-oriented role focused on identifying prospective clients, understanding family needs, guiding them toward the right educational services, and supporting long-term relationship development. The person in this role will also contribute to local event execution, market visibility, and broader brand expansion in the Houston area.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead local market outreach and client acquisition efforts across the Houston area
• Identify, engage, and convert prospective leads into active clients
• Understand client goals and provide tailored guidance around admissions and academic consulting services
• Manage sign-ups, follow-up communication, and client onboarding in support of individual sales goals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with families to support satisfaction, trust, and retention
• Support the planning and execution of local seminars, parent workshops, education fairs, and related events
• Gather market insights and share observations that can help improve services, positioning, and brand growth
• Represent Special A professionally in direct client conversations and community-facing activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• Bilingual fluency in Mandarin and English
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly with clients and families
• Ability to understand client needs and translate them into clear educational recommendations
• Comfort working in a results-driven, high-performance environment
• Strong follow-through, responsiveness, and client management skills
• Professional maturity in managing both sales conversations and relationship-building work

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in business development, sales, education consulting, or high-end client services
• Graduation from a Top 30 U.S. university preferred
• Familiarity with both U.S. and Chinese education systems
• Comfort working with Chinese families and in cross-cultural communication contexts
• Experience supporting local events, presentations, parent-facing sessions, or education fairs
• Ability to contribute both to client conversion and broader market development over time
