We are looking to hire a Business Development Manager to help to set up a Nuts Trading desk in the US for Valency Group . As a business development manager, you will stay updated with the latest trends in your industry. You will be responsible for building and maintaining business relationships to increase profits.

Responsibilities

·       Responsible for developing and growing the Nuts Trading Portfolio across the market

·       Identify New potential customers and attract new clients through market research

·       Deepening and expansion of cashew and increase volumes of cashew kernel sales  and other markets through building leads by leveraging knowledge of business trends

·       Increasing and improvising the current volume and Trade of Cashew Kernel  and finding new avenues of Trade in walnuts & almonds and procuring almonds and Pistachios.

·       Closely liasoning with manufacturing & BU heads in all aspects and to ensure customer satisfaction

• Perform other activities involved in the sales process including presentations, negotiations, negotiations, and close-outs.

Requirements:

1. More than 10 years of experience within a commercial and business development position in Agriculture products.
2. Related Experience in Agri commodity is a must. Experience in Nuts such as cashew kernel, walnut, almond is an added advantage
3. Previous proven experience of setting up a new desk is an advantage.
4. Bachelor or higher qualification in trading required.
