Role Description
This is a part-time, contract role for a Bookkeeper remote or based in San Diego, CA. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing books, preparing financial statements, and handling daily journal entries as well as paying vendors. The role also includes working with accounting software and supporting financial reporting to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial management.
Qualifications
- Must have experience or feel comfortable with e-commerce businesses
- Proficiency in Bookkeeping, Financial Statements, and Journal Entries in accounting
- Experience with Accounting Software and related tools
- A strong understanding of Finance principles and practices
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- A proven ability to manage deadlines and maintain accuracy in records
- Experience in a retail or e-commerce business environment is a plus
- Relevant certification or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
