Role Description
This is an independent, hybrid role for a Billing Accounting Assistant, located in Chicago, IL. The Billing Accounting Assistant will be responsible for preparing financial statements/invoicing, managing bookkeeping tasks, using accounting software to maintain financial records, and assisting with other accounting and finance-related responsibilities. The role involves weekly collaboration with the team to ensure accuracy in financial transactions and compliance with organizational processes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Financial Statements and general knowledge of Finance
- Experience with Accounting Software and managing Bookkeeping tasks
- Solid understanding of Accounting principles
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Previous experience in a healthcare or behavioral health environment is a plus
