Our client, an innovative life sciences company, is hiring for a Billing Accountant to join the team!

Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end customer billing processes, including invoice preparation, review, and distribution
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing in accordance with contracts, purchase orders, and customer agreements
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and customer inquiries
- Reconcile AR accounts and assist with month-end close activities
- Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation
- Support cash application and payment posting activities
- Generate AR and billing reports for finance leadership
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, customer service, project management, and finance teams
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
- Maintain accurate records within ERP/accounting systems
- Identify opportunities to improve billing efficiency and AR processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or general accounting
- Strong understanding of AR Processes and accounting principles
- Experience supporting customer billing structures
- Sense of urgency
- Able to work autonomously
