(Bilingual-Chinese) Office Clerk/Receptionist Full Time NEW

Currently, we are only seeking bi-lingual candidates, you must be able to communicate in Mandarin Chinese in order to perform the daily responsibilities of this job. Speaking in Chinese is required while basic reading and writing is not, it is a plus.

We are looking for an effective office clerk that has the ability to work diligently to help maintain smooth office operations in a fast-paced and ever changing food manufacturing environment. You will undertake a variety of tasks in the office ranging from inputting sales and purchase orders, answering the phone to basic bookkeeping and filing. You must be reliable and hardworking with good communication skills and time management.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Handling daily sales and purchase orders with associated retail stores/customers
• Maintaining files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible
• Assigning responsibilities and maintaining communication with other departments
• Sorting and distributing incoming mail and preparing outgoing mail (envelopes, packages, etc.)
• Answering the phone to take messages or redirecting calls to appropriate colleagues
• Utilizing office appliances such as photocopier, printers etc. and computers for word processing, spreadsheet creation etc.
• Basic bookkeeping tasks and issuing invoices, checks etc.
• Assisting in customer service related tasks such as handling orders, answering questions, resolving complaints etc.
• Assisting in office management and organization procedures
• Monitoring stocks of supplies (paper, stationery etc.) and reporting inventory shortages
• Performing other office duties as assigned

Skills

• Some experience as office clerk or other clerical position
• Strong knowledge or experience in retail and/or customer service
• Familiarity with office procedures and basic accounting principles
• Working knowledge of office devices and processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Very good time management, organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Ability to adapt in a changing and fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or higher
• Willingness to learn how to work in an efficient manner
• Pleasant overall attitude; must work and communicate well with other people

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
