Before and After School Site Director – $300 Bonus Full Time

NOW HIRING: Before and After School Site Director for Champions located at Avilla Elementary at 200 W Washington Street, Avilla, IN 46710

Program Hours:

• Before School – 6:30am-9:00am
• After School – 3:00pm-6:00pm
• Site Directors range between 32-35 hours a week. You will work remote in between program hours on admin tasks.
• $300 Retention Bonus – Paid out 100 days working with us

What You’ll Do

This role allows you to make a meaningful impact during critical out-of-school hours. You will:

• Lead and supervise a group of teachers to create unique and engaging classroom experiences, leverage and develop “best in class” educators to be passionate and committed professionals
• Ensure your site is operating effectively; maintain licensing, safety, and educational standards
• Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, school and district leaders, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners
• Lead recruitment and enrollment efforts of new families and children in our sites

The program operates Monday through Friday, before and after school totaling 32-35 hours per week. You will have admin time outside of program hours as well. This includes time allocated for lesson planning, parent communication, and other related tasks.

What We’re Looking For

Our ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a team environment, brings enthusiasm to their work, and has:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• A solid understanding of child development and educational best practices.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
• The ability to meet state licensing requirements and pass background checks and drug test.
• Able to prove 21+ years old
• The director shall meet one of the following minimum education and experience qualifications:
• *A bachelor of arts or bachelor of science degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education or elementary education with a kindergarten endorsement and grades of C or better
• *Any bachelor of arts or bachelor of science degree from an accredited college or university must include one of the following – 15 credit hours in college level courses with documented content relating to the needs, skills, development, or teaching methods of children 6 years of age or younger and grades of C or better
• *A CDA
• *A 2 year associate’s degree in early childhood education from an accredited college or university, with a grade of C or better and a minimum, of 3 years of experience in an early childhood program
