Bakery Production Lead
We’re hiring a Production Lead to join our team as we expand and increase output. This is a hands-on role in a high-volume artisan bakery, with a mix of production, leadership, and operational support.
You’ll work alongside our Bakery Manager and help carry the day-to-day. When they’re not in the building, you’re the point person for the production team.
What You’ll Do
- Work daily in production across bread and laminated pastry
- Lead shifts and keep production on track when the Bakery Manager is not present
- Maintain consistency, quality, and execution of recipes
- Support ordering, inventory, and prep planning
- Help train staff and reinforce standards
- Assist with systems, workflow improvements, and menu development depending on your strengths
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience with laminated doughs and bread production (non-negotiable)
- Experience in a high-volume bakery or production kitchen
- Comfortable leading a team and being the go-to person on a shift
- Organized, reliable, and able to keep things moving
- Interest in either systems, product development, or leadership (or all three)
- Strong communication skills
Compensation, Schedule & Structure
- $20.50–$23.00/hr combined rate (wage + tip share)
- Lower starting rate during paid training, with a raise upon transition into the Production Lead role
- Full-time, 35–40 hours
- Mix of shifts, typically working opposite the Bakery Manager with some overlap
Pay: $20.50 – $23.00 per hour
