Description:

Set between the Sandia Mountains and the Rio Grande, Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa is a destination rooted in culture, creativity, and culinary excellence. Our pastry team plays a key role in delivering memorable experiences through handcrafted desserts and baked good enjoyed by guests across the resort.

Prepare and bake pastries, desserts, and bake goods that reflect Hyatt standards.

This role supports daily resort operations, banquets, and special events.

Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices are followed at all times

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen and equipment.

Work collaboratively with the culinary team to meet operational needs.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a baker or pasty cook preferred.

Culinary or pastry education a plus.

Knowledge of baking, and food safety standards.

Ability to work early mornings, weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules.

Strong attention to detail and passion for quality and presentation.
