Duties

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics to identify issues accurately.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, steering, and electrical components.
• Service and replace tires, shocks & struts, brake pads, oil filters, and perform oil changes to maintain optimal vehicle performance.
• Repair diesel engines and work with advanced ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) for modern vehicle safety features.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for repairs, welding, and component replacements while adhering to safety standards.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to execute precise repairs on complex automotive systems.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicles meet safety standards before returning to customers.

Skills

• Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
• Expertise in automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, powertrain components, and auto body repair.
• Familiarity with ADAS calibration, air brake systems, transmissions, wheel alignments, suspension work, and tire service.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive estimating software.
• Ability to work with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus; experience with diesel engine repair is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of schematics for electrical wiring diagrams and mechanical systems troubleshooting.

Pay: $20.00 – $35.00 per hour
