Automation Quality Analyst Full Time

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

• Design automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically.
• Determine the priority for test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios.
• Designing documentation for automated processes.
• Coordinates and/or performs work on programming projects including those that are highly complex in nature and/or large in scale.
• Coordinates and/or writes test plans and test data.
• Writes complex software code and debugs software.
• Analyzes proposed applications for software regression suites
• Analyzes, reviews, and revises software to increase operating efficiency or to adapt new procedures.
• Prepares detailed analyses, plans, diagrams, and verification procedures for existing and proposed applications.

Skills And Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing automated tests and developing automation scripts to execute testing functions automatically.
• 8+ years of experience prioritizing test scenarios and creating test execution plans.
• 8+ years of experience creating test plans, test cases, and preparing test environments.
• 8+ years of experience performing functional, application, and regression testing.
• 8+ years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software development methodologies.
• 8+ years of experience interpreting requirements documents and updating test documentation accordingly.
• 8+ years of experience in analysis, planning, and management reporting functions.
• 8+ years of experience acquiring and applying customer business knowledge within assigned domains.
• 8+ years of experience demonstrating strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• 8+ years of experience collaborating with customers throughout the testing lifecycle.
• 8+ years of experience utilizing strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
• 8+ years of experience working effectively with both technical and non-technical teams while managing multiple responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework and related document templates.
• 2+ years of experience with information architecture and information management methodologies.
• 2+ years of experience with existing and planned software technologies, software architecture, and infrastructure components.
