Responsibilities
The Office of the University Registrar is a unit within the Division of Enrollment Management, which is comprised of four distinct units: Office of Admissions, Office of the University Registrar, Office of Financial Aid, and Technology Operations. Enrollment Management’s integrated services provide distinctive support throughout the student’s development and progression in their academic experience – from recruitment through commencement. Through collaboration, communication, and commitment, all units within Enrollment Management achieve the highest level of student-centered service to current and prospective students and families and to campus partners across the University.
Provides strategic leadership and advanced analytical support for the Office of the University Registrar by delivering high-level data insights, critical analysis, and technical expertise to support business processes, system configuration, and development of initiatives.
Responsible for managing and ensuring university compliance with the various state laws that directly affect student records, enrollment, transcript and advising data, e.g., excess hours, Civic Literacy, etc. Responsible for supervising and directing the daily work of staff responsible for compliance processing tasks. Performs design and development tasks that require expert knowledge of Registrar business processes, student records data structures, and functionality. Serves as primary point of contact for the daily operations of systems, including application workflow, data, and change management requests. Conducts research and testing as appropriate for data projects and initiatives.
Partners with Registrar staff to identify and develop opportunities to increase efficiency, refine processes that require system interaction, and respond to specialized data requests and query needs to support business operations within the Division of Enrollment Management and campus partners across the university that connect with student records. Assists with the coordination, departmental support, testing support, and process documentation to aid in implementing data-driven projects for the modernization of Registrar processes, including new statutory initiatives.
Works collaboratively with ITS to review and evaluate, test and implement new technical processes centered around student records, records configuration, and university community needs. Researches, prototypes, and implements new product features.
Develops and maintains written documentation of operating procedures, data definitions, and decisions related to data elements across multiple systems. Produces stakeholder reports on usage, configurations, and functions related to academic records.
Assists in developing and maintaining partnerships throughout the University to meet departmental goals and objectives. Assists other sections during peak times in support of the goals of Enrollment Management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and four years of experience related to academic and/or student services; or a high school diploma/equivalent and eight years of related experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years.)

Anticipated Salary Range
The anticipated salary range for this position is around $51,500 annually, commensurate with education and experience.
