Summary

As a Bakery Assistant at SAP Brunch, Brown Bag and Bakery, you will play an essential role in our kitchen team, assisting with food preparation, baking, and customer service. This position is vital in ensuring our bakery operates smoothly while delivering delightful experiences to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of various baked goods and pastries according to recipes.
• Support cake decorating efforts to create visually appealing products for customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area to ensure food safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting patrons with their orders and inquiries.
• Package baked goods for display and sale, ensuring quality presentation.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently.
• Follow food handling procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Participate in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment is required.
• Strong skills in food preparation and baking techniques.
• Basic knowledge of cake decorating is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
• Familiarity with food handling guidelines and safety practices.
• Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
