Assistant Manager – Split Shift Full Time NEW

Midwest Automotive Trucking is looking for an Assistant Manager for our Midway, FL location. Midwest Automotive Trucking is a leading transportation company that focuses on advancing the automotive recycling industry and enhancing its members ability to never say no to their customers.

Shift:

• Full-Time Split Shift
• 9 am – 2 pm
• 8 pm – 11 pm

Responsibilities:

• Managing multiple employees
• Run forklift and help load/unload trucks when needed
• Seeing day-to-day operations are running smoothly and on time
• Assuring freight is loaded correctly for deliveries
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Assuring all employees are preforming their jobs correctly and safely

Requirements:

• Must have prior management experience
• Freight / Dock experience is required
• Forklift experience is required
• Maintain a positive attitude
• Be able to run a controlled and stable work environment
• Help employees and be active in day-to-day operations
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen
• Pre-employment background check is required
