Armed Revenue Enforcement Full Time

Job Overview

We are currently hiring professional and dependable Armed Security Officers for a meter enforcement assignment in the municipal area. Officers will maintain a strong and visible security presence while supporting daily operations, monitoring assigned locations, assisting personnel and visitors, and helping ensure a safe environment throughout the workday. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors, conducting foot patrols, and interacting with the public in a professional manner.

This is a steady daytime position offering consistent hours and long-term opportunities for dependable officers ready to start immediately. We are seeking individuals with strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced situations. Prior armed security, patrol, municipal, or enforcement-related experience is preferred but not required for qualified applicants.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional armed security presence
• Conduct foot patrols of assigned areas
• Monitor activity and report suspicious behavior or incidents
• Assist with maintaining safety and order at assigned locations
• Complete daily activity and incident reports
• Follow all post orders and company procedures
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, staff, and the public
• Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies when necessary

Requirements

• Active Virginia DCJS Armed Security Officer License
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background screening
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior armed security or patrol experience
• Experience working municipal or public-facing assignments
• Military or law enforcement background is a plus
