Hiring: Apprentice Electrician for Ft. Polk LA
An AllCom Global Services Project consists of various subsystems that will be installed, tested and placed into service. This requires experience as an installation person to understand the system design, industry standards, installation methods & processes with knowledge of data enterprise and telecommunications.
Knowledge / Skill / Abilities Requirements:
- Basic Knowledge of the National Electric Code
- Some Outside plant fiber, copper, and grounding installation requirements and standards
- Inside Plant infrastructure providing common system functionality (cabling, racking, power, HVAC)
- Site installation preparation
- Secondary distribution for DC & AC Power
- Transport equipment installation
- Data Enterprise installation
- Knowledge with most industry standards supporting the Data and Telecommunications environment
Additional Skills:
- Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to follow directions and assist Journeyman Electricians
- Remove wiring connections on equipment an dhardware for common systems equipment
- Work safely on and around high voltage energized equipment
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- Documented work experience in related filed
- Minimum of 1 year on installation markets
