Responsibilities

• Safely operate your vehicle to transport goods or passengers along designated routes with precision and care
• Maintain your vehicle’s condition through regular inspections and timely repairs to ensure optimal performance
• Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies to guarantee secure deliveries and pickups
• Communicate effectively with the dispatch team (the “warden”) to coordinate schedules, report issues, and receive updates
• Manage your own schedule while adhering to delivery deadlines and route plans
• Keep detailed logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities for accountability
• Demonstrate flexibility in handling unexpected road conditions or logistical challenges with a positive attitude

Experience

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
• Proven experience in driving commercial vehicles or long-haul transportation
• Strong understanding of safety regulations, traffic laws, and best practices for vehicle operation
• Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshoot minor issues
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with dispatch and clients
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and route management
