Role Description:

This is a part-time contract Analyst I to support early-stage work at the intersection of health economics and artificial intelligence, including the ongoing development and application of Token ROI™, a framework for evaluating the operational economics of AI-enabled healthcare workflows.

This role is well suited for intellectually curious candidates who are comfortable working in emerging and interdisciplinary areas where methodologies are still evolving. The work will involve a combination of healthcare workflow analysis, operational research, AI systems evaluation, and micro-costing methodology.

The ideal candidate is thoughtful, resourceful, and capable of independently researching unfamiliar problems, asking well-structured questions, and collaboratively refining analytical approaches.

This is a remote, flexible contractor role with variable workload based on project needs and business activity.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct targeted literature reviews related to healthcare workflow economics, AI implementation, and micro-costing methodology
• Support decomposition of AI-enabled healthcare workflows into measurable operational components
• Build and analyze operational and micro-costing models for AI-enabled workflows
• Characterize workflow cost drivers, oversight burden, and rework dynamics
• Assist with scenario analyses evaluating conditions under which AI-enabled workflows create operational value
• Support development of white papers, conference materials, pilot frameworks, and strategic analyses
• Translate analytical findings into clear, decision-oriented insights

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:

• Health Economics
• Industrial Engineering/ Operations Research
• Health Services Research
• Biomedical Informatics / Clinical Informatics

Candidates with 0–3 years of experience are encouraged to apply, including graduate students, research assistants, and candidates with internship experience.

Preferred Qualifications

·       Practical experience interacting with LLMs through APIs, workflow automation tools, or AI-enabled analytical workflows

·        Familiarity with token utilization concepts, prompt iteration, and model interaction patterns

·        Exposure to workflow automation or AI-assisted healthcare workflows

·        Basic experience with Python or R

·        Proficiency with Excel

·        Remote contractor role (United States only)

·        Flexible hours (approximately 10-20 hours/week) based on project needs with potential opportunity for expanded responsibilities as projects evolve
