POSITION IS LOCATED IN TORRANCE, CA About The Role We are seeking a Mobile App Developer to help deliver innovative and meaningful digital experiences that enhance customer engagement. This role will be responsible for leading mobile architecture, development, production support, and solutioning across both Android and iOS platforms. We’re looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with deep expertise in native mobile development, a strong grasp of modern mobile architectures, and experience integrating with third-party services. Familiarity with hybrid frameworks is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Guide and mentor, the mobile development team to ensure successful delivery of projects
- Project Ownership: Collaborate with stakeholders to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain mobile applications
- Architecture & Design: Build scalable and maintainable solutions for complex business challenges
- Native Development: Lead development for Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C) platforms
- Integration & Security: Work with RESTful APIs, OAuth, JWT, and third-party SDKs
- Automotive Integration: Implement and maintain CarPlay and Android Auto features
- Quality Assurance: Ensure high standards through code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization
- Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers and other stakeholders
Required Technical Skills:
- 4+ years of experience in mobile and smartwatch app development
- Expertise in native Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C)
- Strong understanding of authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT) and API integration
- Experience with CarPlay and Android Auto
- Proficient in debugging and performance optimization
- Familiarity with MQTT and real-time communication
- Experience integrating third-party SDKs

- Automotive domain and Digital Services experience
- 3+ years of big 4 consulting experience is preferred
- A stable work history with large enterprise organizations
The hiring range for this position is $55.00 to $62.00 per hour, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay rate actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
