The Air Dominance Supply Chain Director leads end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution for the Air Dominance portfolio, enabling production growth from $1.6B to $2.8B annually over the next two years and scaling AMRAAM output from 1,200 to 2,400 units. The role manages an immediate $12B materials spend and $1B in test equipment while overseeing international co-production scaling to meet urgent customer demand and ensure cost, quality, schedule, and compliance.
What You Will Do
Supply Chain Management: Oversee sourcing, procurement, logistics, and supplier management to deliver material on time and within budget while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Strategic Planning: Build and execute multi-year supply strategies aligned to demand forecasts, inventory targets, and production needs.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply, logistics, regulatory, and geopolitical risks, ensuring proactive contingencies.
Performance Monitoring: Track and improve KPIs including bookings, material sales, margin/PV, OTD, and price variance.
Team Leadership: Lead and develop multi-regional teams, driving high performance and organizational alignment.
Scope & Impact: $1B+ annual production proposal demand; $500M+ annual material sales.
Direct influence on cash and profit through supplier performance and pricing variance.
Leadership in strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and international co-production.
Communications: Engages senior leaders, customers, and supplier executives to align strategy, resolve crises, and negotiate outcomes.
Communicates in contentious environments requiring persuasion and strategic influence.
Innovation: Leads process and system enhancements including supply chain visibility and advanced analytics/ML.
Ensures improvements consider financial implications and staffing requirements.
Qualifications You Must Have
Experience across supply chain, procurement, logistics, and regulatory compliance.
Experience managing budgets.
Experience managing/supervising/leading individuals and teams.
Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 12 years experience.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience across supply chain, procurement, logistics, and regulatory compliance in the aerospace industry.
Experience leading global supply chain operations.

The salary range for this role is 186,200 USD – 353,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
